Nascent in Adelaide.
Nascent, an experimental dance video by Gina Czarnecki was one of six titles to receive support from the AFF Investment Fund in 2005. Since then Nascent has been selected in many festivals including the International Festival on Movement and the Moving Image in Athens, the Moving Pictures Festival in Toronto and has wowed audiences in London at the Dance Film Day. It was awarded Best Dance Film at the Reeldance Awards for Australia and New Zealand. Highlights of all the 2006 finalists will feature in an 11-city tour. Adelaide audiences will be able to see Nascent and all the other finalists on the 15 & 16 September at the Mercury Cinema from 6pm.
