Acknowledgement of Country

Adelaide Film Festival acknowledges that we work and celebrate screen culture on Kaurna Country. We pay our respects to Kaurna Elders past, present and emerging and recognise their culture, beliefs, and relationship with the Adelaide Plains. We would also like to acknowledge Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia as the first storytellers.

2013 Adelaide Film Festival - Screen Worship

The 2013 Adelaide Film Festival wants you to join us in Screen Worship. Created by Adelaide-based Nation, Screen Worship celebrates work for all screens – cinema, television, phone, computer, in galleries and surprising corners around the State.

"The ethos of the AFF is to recognise big strong stories, honour the craft and creativity of the productions, and have some fun. Screen Worship is something we have all been guilty of when we get immersed or involved in a particular film, or game, or work of art on screen. It is an acknowledgment of the amazing screen stories we will have on offer at the Festival."
- Amanda Duthie, AFF CEO and Director
