Shorts shine at Fleurieu Film Festival

Adelaide Film Festival were proud to once again sponsor the Fleurieu Film Festival, which took place last Saturday with an outdoor screening under the starry skies of the South Australian Fleurieu Peninsula.

A program of shorts on the theme of 'Dreams' was presented from a range of new and emerging filmmakers. The theme for next year has been announced as 'Gift'.

Adelaide Film Festival's Head of Programming & Industry Gail Kovatseff was on the judging panel, while our CEO & Creative Director Mat Kesting presented the award for Best Actor. This award went to Mikayla Rudd in AFTERMARKET, directed by Rosie Talbot.

Best Director was awarded to Alice Xiaohua Yang for MY BA. Best Film went to GOOD MORNING, directed and produced by Manuel Ashman. The other award winners can be seen on the Fleurieu Film Festival website.
