The Adelaide Film Festival is excited to premiere - This is Port Adelaide

Continuing on from a huge 2020 instalment, The Adelaide Film Festival is excited to premiere This is Port Adelaide, a feature film that showcases the extraordinary history of the Port Adelaide Football Club in its 150th year anniversary.

The film will take audiences through the truly incredible journey of Australia’s most successful football club. This is Port Adelaide explores the on and off-field highs and lows including stories of triumph, hardship and ultimate sacrifice.

A film that was a recipient of the Adelaide Film Festival Investment Fund, This is Port Adelaide was produced by South Australian film company 57 Films, with Director/Producer Nicole Miller and Producers James Moody and Paul Ryan.

This is Port Adelaide is ultimately a film about community and how sporting clubs can connect people from all walks of life; cutting across generations and diversity. Featuring club members and legends including Gavin Wanganeen, John Cahill and Geof Motley, VFL/AFL champions Kevin Sheedy, David Parkin and Malcolm Blight, the film has broad appeal.
