Shorts in Cinema
Adelaide Film Festival is bringing local short films to the big screen with a new initiative, Shorts in Cinema.
Are you eager to see short films outside of the festival?
In partnership with local cinemas The Mercury and The Piccadilly and City of Adelaide, AFF presents the Shorts in Cinema initiative – screening the short films of 20 emerging filmmakers over the next 12 months.
Selected shorts will be paired with the latest feature films at The Mercury and The Piccadilly, connecting local talent with local audiences.
Shorts in Cinema will not only provide emerging filmmakers with a paid opportunity to see their work on cinema screens but will also provide career advancement opportunities through professional development workshops and industry attention.
Adelaide film-lovers are encouraged to get out to their local cinema and support these filmmakers, to keep innovative filmmaking, fresh perspectives, and passionate local storytelling at the forefront of our industry.
